Twice a year we review the latest research, consider what we’ve heard from our profession, and take the pulse on what’s ahead to keep the Profession Map practical and future-fit.

Changes to the Profession Map are evidence-based and range from small tweaks to fundamental shifts.

Recent updates to the Profession Map do not result in any material changes to the CIPD qualification you are studying towards.

Familiarise yourself with recent changes to the Profession Map, access resources to update your knowledge and embed these changes into your day-to-day practice.

Recent updates to the Profession Map do not result in any material changes to CIPD membership standards and therefore do not affect the criteria against which you are assessed.

Familiarise yourself with the recent changes to the Profession Map to determine whether these materially affect the framework you are working within.

Recent changes to the Profession Map do not materially affect CIPD membership and qualifications. Both continue to be rooted in the standards. Over time they will be updated to reflect ongoing changes to the Profession Map standards.
