Mutual recognition agreement offers dual membership and greater access to resources and career opportunities.
The CIPD has signed a mutual recognition agreement (MRA) with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), to give members of both organisations access to more resources and professional development opportunities to boost their careers.
Members of the CIPD and CIPM will benefit from access to a wide range of qualifications and learning resources. The agreement also brings members the opportunity to boost their professional skills and progress their careers, by joining continuing professional development programmes.
The collaborative partnership forms part of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two bodies in 2023. It will encourage members to share insights, knowledge, and successful strategies, building stronger connections across the global HR community.
CIPM members will also benefit from attending key CIPD events, such as the CIPD Festival of Work and the Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE), offering them valuable opportunities to learn and connect with international HR professionals.
Additionally, CIPD and CIPM members will have the chance to collaborate on research projects and joint learning programmes, to shape the future of HR practices. By working together, both organisations are committed to supporting HR professionals and improving working lives worldwide.
