This year’s annual CIPD wellbeing conference will address the essential strategies to empower you in improving workplace wellbeing and performance. You’ll gain valuable insights on building leadership capability to achieve wellbeing goals, backed by the latest research on how manager wellbeing directly influences their teams. We’ll delve into the critical role you play in shaping the employee experience and explore how you can integrate wellbeing into job design to boost both performance and work-life balance.

Together, we'll examine how to align digitalisation and AI-driven tools with your wellbeing objectives, ensuring they support, rather than hinder, the wellbeing of your employees. You’ll acquire practical tools to foster a culture where both employer and employees proactively promote wellbeing through thoughtful job design and self-direction. Plus, you’ll hear actionable strategies to counteract the negative effects of increased workload and stress. Don’t miss this opportunity to lead your organisation towards a healthier, more productive future.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to build leadership capability to deliver wellbeing goals
  • The impact of managers’ wellbeing on their team – what the research says
  • The role wellbeing has in building the employee experience
  • How to integrate wellbeing and job design to deliver improved performance and work life balance
  • Ensuring digitalisation and AI-driven tools and strategies enhance wellbeing
  • Creating a culture where both employees (through self-direction) and employers (through job design and the work environment) proactively drive wellbeing
  • Taking action to counteract the negative impact of increased workload and stress

"Our research shows many organisations are making extra effort to sustain a wellbeing culture. More care has to go into addressing workload issues, as this is seen to contribute to mental health absence. The conference will discuss these issues and the strategies to enhance wellbeing.”
